No matter what time of year you decide to visit Sandpoint, something is always going on. From the January Winter Carnival to February's Madcap Mardi Gras; the Harbor Stomp Games and Caribbean Carnival in March and April respectively; Lost in the 50's in May; North Idaho Timberfest in June; 4th of July Celebration and Sandpoint Wooden Boat Festival in July as well as Schweitzer Bluegrass Festival. Pro racing kicks off with cross-country and mountain cross during NORBA at Schweitzer. August is one of the busiest months: The Festival at Sandpoint begins, and then there's the Arts and Crafts Fair, the Bonner County Fair & Rodeo, and, of course, the Long Bridge Swim! September brings in Fall Fest at Schweitzer, and Idaho Draft Horse and Mule International. There's plenty to do in October, too: Oktoberfest, Oompa Fest and Harvestfest. But even when winter's setting in, there's still a lot to do in Sandpoint! There's the K & K Fishing Derby, Holly Eve, holidays in Sandpoint in November and December brings with it the holidays in Sandpoint and New Years Eve celebrations!!
